DESIGN: Adobe just dropped its latest software updates via the Creative Cloud and among those updates is a new feature in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) called “Super Resolution.” You can mark this day down as a major shift in the photo industry.
TECH: Sears is the Amazon of the past. Sears Catalogues was a magical publication from where you could buy anything from electronics to cutlery. Even though they discontinued Sears after E-commerce giants started ruling, the vintage value of the catalog is enormous.
DESIGN: When we treat UI/UX design as though it’s art, we do ourselves a disservice for a few reasons. First, treating design like art propagates the fallacious notion that good design is subjective. Read more from Cody Albers’s article.
EDU: This pandemic has created a new normal for the lives of millions of high school students and this has significantly reduced a student's motivation to learn. Quizlet, a popular studying tool among students, by providing tools that help students collaborate and interact with their classmates, has helped many institutions to deliver content effectively.
DESIGN: Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. It can also be defined as a set of activities and processes to solve problems by using or applying the characteristics of game elements.
